Today's specials concern a mouse, an archaeologist, the star of Gray's Anatomy, and one of my favorite Christian writers...

REEPICHEEP... you know, that insane killing machine from Narnia...

It will be interesting to see if Walden Media is able to bring C.S. Lewis's Prince Caspian without botching it the way they did The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I'm not going to jump to any conclusions. But I *am* nervous.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Eddie Izzard, the standup comedian who will be the voice of Reepicheep in Prince Caspian. And we have to take this description of Reepicheep with several grains of salt, as it's from a fellow who's always in the middle of a comedy performance. But still... does this sound like C.S. Lewis's Reepicheep to you?

What's so amazing about Katherine Heigl's reading habits?

This will probably be the only time I ever mention Katherine Heigl and Philip Yancey in the same sentence... but look who's reading my favorite Yancey book!

(I guess you could say I'm a Heigl fan. I've liked her since long before Knocked Up, going back to TV's "Roswell." I found myself standing next to her in baggage claim in an airport last year and almost introduced her to my wife Anne, who really is from Roswell, but Heigl looked a little bit travel-weary, so I left her alone.) (Thanks to Beth Rambo for catching the reference to Yancey's book!)
