Stumped.

I just received this summary of a movie coming out on DVD. I've blocked out the particulars, because I'm more interested in the film's plot structure...

Broken and abandoned, will she find her way home to her father, or will her pride and ego leave her with an empty life?

Golly, that question at the end has me stumped. What will she do? I may lose sleep over this. Anybody want to make a guess?
